A museum of dolls, a cultural centre and a workshop

The Mission Gallery was founded in 2009 by the State Institute for Culture at the Minister of Foreign Affairs as a free space for cultural diplomacy in Sofia. Unique as an art space within the administrative structure, it changes the daily institutional rhythmn, opening the way for a dynamic exchange among audiences, opinions, artistic concepts and messages.

The National Museum of Bulgarian Art is the largest and most respectable institution of its kind in Bulgaria. Over the years, it has established its position as a center for national cultural heritage and values. The collection was started in 1892 when the People’s Museum of Archeology founded its Department of Art.

UniArt Gallery, the art space of New Bulgarian University, opened its doors on May 19, 2012. The gallery has a two-storeyed exhibition space and an outdoor area.

Valer Gallery is focusing the attention of the wide audience on the contemporary art, by giving an opportunity to the authors with approved reputation, to realize their own ideas dictated by the sensation of their inner artistic world, remain the free choice of the artists from different spheres of the art, to submit themselves both in the permanent exposition of the gallery and by the one-man shows in beautiful space on 86 “Knyaz Boris I” Str. in Sofia.

Located at 9 Lyuben Karavelov st. in Sofia, the new gallery, [a]cube, will focus on 21st century contemporary art. The space has been fully refurbished by arch. Enil Enchev.
