7 – 16 June 2018

Opening – 7.06.2018, 05:30 pm, Academia Gallery – 1 Shipka Str., Sofia
“Applied nostalgia” is a joint exposition of two photographers – one from Serbia and one from Bulgaria. The authors are Hristo Russev from Bulgaria and Dragana Udovicic from Serbia. As part of the project, Dragana Udovicic, the author from Serbia, visited Sofia – the country of the Presidency of the Council of the European Union, and for seven days has been taking photos of places, events and people who remind her of her city. The Bulgarian author Hristo Rusev takes pictures of Belgrade, as both authors follow the rule of working as photographers, overcome with “nostalgia”. Thus, 20 photographs were selected in the exposition, which best illustrate the general outline in the everyday life of the two cities. The photographs will be presented at the exhibition “Applied nostalgia”, which will be opened on 7 June 2018, at 05:30 pm at the Academia Gallery. The exhibition will be shown in Belgrade and in other Serbian cities.
