The exhibition is organized under the patronage of J. E. Mr Manuel Korček, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Slovak Republic to the Republic of Bulgaria.

Contrast Gallery presents paintings and drawings by the artist Radostina Doganova, who has lived in Bratislava since 1996. The exhibition includes works by two projects “Seeking identity” (2018) and “Memory of the picture” (2019). The exhibition is supported by the Fund for the Culture of National Minorities in Slovakia.

Radostina Doganova was born in Dobrich (1975). She graduated from the “Tsanko Lavrenov Art School” in Plovdiv in 1994 and later studied at the National Academy of Art in Sofia, specializing in painting (1994-1996). Her formal artistic education concluded in 2001 at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava, Slovakia. In 2010 she defended Art D. (Doctor of Arts) at the Academy in Bratislava. She has participated in numerous collective exhibitions in Bulgaria, Slovakia, Austria, Romania, Germany and others. Solo exhibitions – Sofia, Munich, Ljubljana, Zagreb, Berlin, Heinburg / D, Varna, Dobrich, Bratislava, international art residence in India, Jodpur (2015-2016). Her works are in private collections in Bratislava, Munich, Vienna, Paris, London, Washington, Ljubljana, as well as in the National Art Gallery in Sofia.
Since 1996 she has been living in Bratislava, Slovakia. From 2011 she has also been actively participating in the Bulgarian cultural scene, individual exhibitions – City Gallery, Dobrich (2011), Gallery of UBA, 6 Shipka Street (2014), City Art Gallery, Varna (2014) Fines “, Sofia (2015).
She is author and coordinator of a number of cultural and educational projects under programs of the Council of Ministers of the Slovak Republic. Organizer and curator of collective exhibitions in Bulgaria and abroad.
Member of the Union of Bulgarian Artists and Union of Artists in Slovakia.
