“The Sea Breeze”

The opening of the exhibition “The Sea Breeze”, by Renata Vale, will be enhanced by live musical performance of bossa nova and MPB, by the Brazilian violinist Carolina Ribeiro.
Traditional Brazilian snacks and sweets will also be presented by Silvia Castellano from “Botequim da Sil” (on sale).
Zenon Institute will offer a glass of wine for the guests.
Brazilian photographer RENATA VALE was born in Fortaleza in 1977, now living in the city of Sao Paulo,since 2001. Renata worked for a number of years at the “Beto Studart Foundation for Incentive to Talent” (, an organization run by her own family, which plays an important role in supporting the development of young Brazilian talents who live in underpriviledged conditions. She recently completed her professional photography course at the Pan American School of Arts in São Paulo. The essay “A Brisa do Mar” (The Sea Breeze) marks her individual debut as an art photographer, in the city of Sofia – Bulgaria.
ZENON Cultural Institute is a non-profit organization founded in Brazil in 2012. Since 2014 ZENON Institute has been working in the establishment of artistic exchanges and cultural bridges between Brazil and Bulgaria. BULGARIA FOR BRAZIL: in 2017 the ZENON Institute held the First Panorama of the Bulgarian Arts in Brazil, presenting the cinema, literature, music for piano, photography and Bulgarian visual arts in the city of Fortaleza, state of Ceará, with the participation of 50 artists and producers. From July till September 2018, the Zenon Institute is currently presenting “Dialogues with Bulgaria” – a triple exhibition of Bulgarian engravings, collages and traditional symbols in tapestry, in the city of Vitoria, state of Espirito Santo.

BRAZIL FOR BULGARIA: The Zenon Institute has promoted a number of Brazilian visual arts exhibitions, literature, cinema, music, dance and gastronomy in the cities of Sofia and Varna. In October 2018, ZENON Institute will promote the 3a. edition of the annual Brazilian Week of Culture and Cinema for the city of Sofia, focusing on the Afro-Brazilian Theme.
