The newest artwork of Tsvetelina Spiridonova explores the ways the magic of light works together with scrap metal pieces and natural shapes & phenomena. The exhibition is on view at Nuance art gallery in Sofia. The show called “Light Paints” includes about 20 art pieces created especially for the space of the gallery.
Created through exploration of various printmaking techniques, materials and ways of expression, the artwork shows certain strength and plasticity and is the result of deep observation of detail. Besides monotype, embossment and dry point needles, the artist has used her own invention of encrusting suminagashi and chine colle with the traditional embossment. This makes some of her pieces truly unique.
If you are interested in seeing the light that draws dragonflies, butterflies, crabs, flamingos, snails, exotic flowers and other natural forms and phenomena and transforms them into a magical world filled with love, joy and beauty, please come to Nuance gallery between September 27 and October 13.
